
About Hubog’s PTA

The significance of the Parent Teacher Association cannot be ignored as part of the Nigeria present school system.
In this respect, Hubert Ogunde Memorial School, Akute, Ogun state isn’t left out of this great association.
In Nigeria, Parent Teacher Association was formed in 1955 with the coming of the free primary education. The PTA is a partnership between parents and educators to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school.
In___, the Parent Teacher Association of Hubert Ogunde Memorial School was formed. Since the formation of the PTA, we have had three (3) chairmen (including the present one).
Pastor Chux Onyenyeonwu became the substantive first chairman of the PTA in __.
He contributed immensely towards the growth and development of the school.

Jibodu (his successor) embarked on various infrastructural and educational projects that had helped in no small measure in improving a conducive learning environment for the pupils.
The present PTA led by Mr Morakinyo Adesanwo and Alhaji Bankole has sustained this developmental projects and helped to foster healthy relationship between the PTA and the school management.
